Prem Aman leads the media wing of The Rare Earth, an organization that is committed to cause communications. In his leadership capacity, Prem is fully dedicated to Cause Campaigns that reach out and deliver messages for change. A nonfiction filmmaker, media designer, and a former journalist, he is endowed with more than three decades of rich media experience.
With a masters' degree in Mass Communications and Journalism and an MA in Hindi Literature from Osmania University, he worked as a print journalist for a few years before transitioning into electronic media. As a recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship, he pursued advanced academic studies in Television and Film direction at the Syracuse University in the U.S. As an awardee of the Commonwealth Media Fellowship, he underwent professional training at the BBC Television Center in London.
A seasoned filmmaker, Prem has won numerous awards and accolades for a remarkable array of nonfiction films that ranged across diverse themes and genres.
